Virtual Secret Santa for remote teams and faraway family
When your group is spread across cities, or time zones, you can't pass a hat around. A virtual Secret Santa does the draw online and gives everyone what they need to send a great gift from anywhere.
How a virtual Secret Santa works
The organizer creates an exchange and shares one invite link. Everyone joins from their phone or laptop and adds a few gift ideas. After the draw, each person gets a private link to their match and their wishlist.
Shipping and addresses
Santas can ask their match an anonymous question, like a shipping address or a size, without giving away who they are. Ordering online and shipping straight to the recipient is the easiest way to play long-distance.
The reveal on a video call
Pick a date and open gifts together on Zoom, Meet or Teams. Have everyone guess their Santa before the big reveal. A Christmas soundboard with drum rolls and sleigh bells helps the mood.
Budget tips for virtual exchanges
Shipping adds up, so many groups pick a budget that includes delivery. Gift cards, digital subscriptions and small treats ship easily and still feel personal.
